RoomSaathi is a fast-growing PropTech startup simplifying room rentals and roommate discovery across India. We're looking for a Web Developer to help build the platform, ground-up.

We connect property owners, tenants, and roommates through verified listings, smart search, secure communication, and an intuitive experience. We're building technology that makes finding accommodation faster, safer, and more transparent.

Role overview

You'll help build scalable, high-performance web applications — working closely with design, product, and backend to ship features used by thousands of people looking for their next room, flat, or plot.

What you'll do

  • Develop responsive, modern web applications using React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Build reusable UI components with Tailwind CSS.
  • Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
  • Develop backend features using Node.js and Express.js.
  • Design and optimize MongoDB databases.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization.
  • Improve website performance, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Debug, test, and resolve production issues.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
  • Participate in code reviews and collaborate using Git/GitHub.
  • Work closely with UI/UX designers to implement pixel-perfect designs.
  • Contribute ideas to improve product features and user experience.

Qualifications

  • • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • • 0–2 years of experience — freshers with strong projects are encouraged to apply.
  • • A portfolio or GitHub projects that show real web development skill.
