RoomSaathi is a roommate and room-finding platform built to solve one very ordinary, very frustrating problem: finding a room is easy, but finding a roommate you actually get along with is not. Endless broker calls, unanswered group-chat listings, and rooms that turn out to be nothing like the photos — we built RoomSaathi to replace all of that with a simple, verified, compatibility-first way to search.

What we do

RoomSaathi connects people looking for a room with people who have one to offer, and matches roommates against each other based on how they actually live — budget, locality, sleep schedule, cleanliness, food preferences, and lifestyle habits. Instead of scrolling through hundreds of listings, you see the ones most likely to be a genuine fit, ranked by a compatibility score.

Why we exist

Most listing platforms stop at showing you a room. They don't tell you whether the person living there keeps the same hours as you, splits chores fairly, or even wants a long-term roommate at all. RoomSaathi was built to close that gap — treating "who you'll live with" as seriously as "where you'll live."

• Every profile goes through phone verification before it's visible in search.
• Our matching engine scores compatibility using the preferences you share, not just keyword filters.
• All conversations happen inside the app, so you're never asked to pay or share personal details off-platform before you're ready.
• We do not charge brokerage. Ever.
